Message You could possibly even ask 11 and take 10 or 95.

I have owned 4 Twin Turbos and 2 had salvage titles. One because the car was stolen and recovered in a different state thus called a "total loss". Go ahead pass the savings on to me, thank you.

The second one was a low mileage Z about like yours with Sport 500 turbos, radiator, Volk GTNs, stereo system, downpipes, and exhaust and everything else pretty much stock. The car drove straight and perfect and the motor was a fresh rebuild the car had 4X,XXX miles. Interior was great. All paperwork came with the car and the salvage work was done professionally. I loved the car.

I paid 10 for it. Could have had it for 8 or so without the Volks and stereo system. This car didnt have near the other mods that yours does like intercoolers and injectors.

Dont let these people lowball you. If the motor was rebuilt and has different mileage numbers than the frame (significantly less), that is a plus. The modifications and maintenance are a plus.

Ask yourself what everything is really worth and compare it to other cars on the market that are similar. That is where you will start to see the true value. Add up your wheels (used price), turbos (used price), etc and compare it to similar cars what people are asking and then knock off maybe 2 grand for the salvage title.

Some people consider themselves too good to buy a salvage title vehicle but then they have no problem buying a highly modded and ragged out regular title vehicle which makes no sense.

Someone will buy this car for $10,000 if you are patient enough. Maybe only $8,000 - $9,000 if the motor also has 104k.

If youre not trying to sell it and you just want to know what its worth, get it appraised.

DISCLAIMER:

Sorry, I post from my phone and at work out of town away from my Z a lot of the time... searching can be difficult and questions may be redundant.
